Adults Driver Education

TRD Economy Driving School specialize in teaching adults how to drive safely.Our calm, patient, professional instructors will take you comfortably through our step by step process and help you become a safe, confident, and licensed driver.

Depending on your level of experience, our instructors will patiently teach you the skills needed to become a safe and responsible driver. If it is your first time driving, our instructors will NOT take you on the freeway. We want your first driving experience to be a positive one.

The state of California does not require you to complete a driver's education program once you are 18 years old. You will first have to take a permit test (written exam). When you have successfully completed the permit test (written exam) you can be issued an Instructional Permit. You may practice with any California licensed adult driver, with our certified instructor, or any other driving school in your community.

Each lesson is a minimum of 2 hours and can be taken daily. We provide free pick-up and drop-off from home. Based on your first driving lesson, we will then evaluate your driving skills and let you know what areas need improvement and approximately how many more hours you will need.
